This is a good example of why I keep my studio hardware based and don't use software processors. That way I don't need to worry about my investments turning into pumpkins at somebody else's whim. Well, in this case, the "software processor" is simply a control module for the hardware. So the people who are upset about this are actually hardware users. Who were foolish enough to purchase hardware that was totally dependent on a software company to be functional.
Sounds like fraud to me.

Yeah why I tend to get more hardware too. Is a bummer though. This little piece of midi software made recall for the m7 super easy

Fraud? Lol ah no.. This plugin doesn't render a m7 useless. You make some really bold a dumb statements sometimes. It was simply a convenience thing. I have 3 m7s..recalling all of them is like anything else. Takes time. But with a plugin. Didn't take any. If you don't think that's cool and useful as a hardware user..then you don't use hardware enough in different enough ways. Which is fine.

It makes the version of the M7 without front panel controls pretty useless, doesn't it? All those people who jumped on the "bargain" version are SOL, no?

No idea why you'd buy that one and not get the M10 remote. That version is designed to be racked in a machine room or somewhere far away. Seems silly to depend solely on a plugin for that. I have 3 of them..but also the remote.
That said. I'd bet the plugin lasts a while anyways. So I'd bet that if someone was foolish enough to do that they will be okay for a while

Bricasti M10=USD 2,295
I have a Bricasti M7 and I want to buy its remote but i always get the doubt, I think its price is a bit excessive. I know it is a high end product but there are many high end products that can be purchased and have an impact on the audio for that price.

I just found an installer for M7 Control. Can anyone verify that this was the last one released? Mac_V_3.0.1 michael Carnes Thanks That sounds pretty close. I'm not able to look right now, but I think you've got it.

Good enough, thanks, Michael. I went to the "new" Expotential Audio/iZotope website and logged in and couldn't find my license key for my M7 Control copy. Might that be a problem in the future? Thanks

I was just in communication with them about this. I know they're working on it!
