Sorry I didn't notice they had participated on this thread. Sometimes we even stay on topic around here. I mean, not too often, but some times! It’s like a song. Sometimes we go off on a bit of a tangent, but we always end up back on the melody.

I derailed things and I'm a bad person. Feel free to bash me over the head with a rusty shovel.
For the recorded, I voted M49. Those mics are wonderful, and I think there's few people in the world who could do it justice, particularly the capsule. Heiserman is one of them. The capsules you guys make are bonkers.

The M49 just will not go down easily!
Don't make me organize a Facebook disinformation campaign against the M49

Glad to see this thread is still alive — I haven’t been on for a while because we’ve been super busy finalizing the H47 Tube, but in the next couple weeks we’ll have some details (as well as audio and video) to share from our recent shootout at Sputnik in Nashville.
And then hopefully in the following weeks and months, we can share some updates on other new mics!! At this point, I think the next mic that will be ready is a new creation, but I can’t say much more right now...
And keep the votes rolling in!! M49 and u67 are tied up again.

I haven’t read this whole thread, but it would be really cool to see a Heisermann KM84H

Well, that's something I'm holding out hope for! but I digress. . . Eric and Matt know how much I want that, and when it becomes possible, YEEHAW

I haven’t read this whole thread, but it would be really cool to see a Heisermann KM84H How loud can I shout YES to this?! The whole audio world wants a new 84, yet no one seems to be able to our have the desire to make it happen, including Neumann.

We're definitely considering versions of various famous SDCs............. nothing specific to share at the moment. Next up will be the Type 19, and then we'll have at least one more mic ready in the first half of next year

IMHO C28, would be another cool possibility. Used to great effect, on The Seekers' incredible female lead vocalist-for one thing. AKA Judith Durham. Chris

I'm giddy with anticipation about getting my hands on some 19s!!

No more mics—everyone pool their genius, resources, experience, etc, and make a VF14 so we can have a real 47 again.
And then, ya know, whatever else might be possible to design around it besides a 47

I believe they have a trademark in Germany for the shape of the headbasket.

I think you need to explain this a bit further, John. I understand what you are referring to, and perhaps 1/2 the class will also. But just so everyone's on the same page, please . . . with regards to the materials in question. Thanks!
