The SA23A+ page is live in case anyone hadn't noticed. stam I just put my deposit down. I sent an email about it. Is that enough to lock in that nice $890 price for those of us who've had the long delays? Really looking forward to this beast. It's $790 for the delay price, no? Well now I'm extra confused. So Joshua posted $790 for the SA23A (non +) and $990 for the SA23A+ for the delay discounts. But the Facebook announcement said $890 (attached). Could you clear that up stam when you get a chance? It's also confusing because be said 30% off, yet neither $890 or $790 are a 30% off price. 30% off of the $1090 in stock price would be $763.

I just decided to pull the trigger on the SA-800.
I'm wondering about the differences on this mic versus Sony's. Stam says on Facebook the big heat sink isn't needed, yet he references that detail with admiration when describing the original on his page. I also believe the Sony has more tubes in the psu.

I just can’t get excited for a Sony C800 (clone). What’s wrong with me? I’ve always thought that they were R&B mics.

Funny enough so have I, but I recently came across this image of Il Divo, a very popular classical crossover act. goo.gl/images/EiAzTcThey have their pop tenor on either a U87, U67, or M269, the M269 is my guess, their light lyric tenor on a U47, their baritone on a C800G, and their lyric tenor on an ELA M251 (very popular in this genre for tenors. Andrea Bocelli is often seen on an ELA M251 or Bock 251. The Canadian Tenors as well). I was surprised to see the Sony. Only one engineer I know ever recommended it for me and it’s one I’ve never tried. Still more curious about a good 251.

Hello Guys,
To avoid any confusion and make things simpler for both clients and us we will offer one piece with a 50% discount rate as compensation for all users affected by delays on any future order. We are unable to discount 50% of the existing order due to budget reasons.
This includes all users of the SA47, SA67, SA76ADG-F, SA4000, EQP1A, 1073EQ and Fairchild, including those who have already received theirs.
You can choose a maximum of one piece with this discount.
If you want to take advantage of the low prices of the first 100 on other products you can reserve on the site, we are uploading 10 new units the next few weeks and all of them have a very low intro price.
We will start purchasing parts immediately and offer a further compensation if we do not meet our delivery deadline. We are confident our dates are accurate and have given ourselves extra margins in case something is not on time
Thanks!!

Great offer: 50% off list price or 50% off of pre-order price?

Thx if you are ordering more than 1 item, first is the lower preorder price and second would be 50 % off of list as everyone can order the preorder price for its savings ?

I have two separate offers for 50% off a future purchase, which were individually emailed to me in response to my 76ADG order AND also the pair of 1073eqs I ordered, both of which are running months late.
So my intentions have been to order a second 76ADG at 50% off and then make up my mind on whether or not I would prefer to use the second 50% offer to order the Stamchild or the new SA23A.

Well I'm still not certain if I would ultimately want the Stamchild or not, but it still might be a purchase decision I would ultimately choose to make, for the exact reason you mentioned about being able to resell it later. $1500 is a nice savings any way you slice it. If I didn't decide to get the Stamchild, I'm thinking of using one 50% discount to pick up the 76ADG for $400 ($800/2), picking up the SA23 at the advertised $790 price for delayed customers, and then holding onto the other 50% discount for some future purchase of a yet to be determined product. Or possibly just using the second 50% discount to grab the SA23A for $545 ($1090/2) and just be done with it.

Not certain why But I seemed to have paid $900 for 2adg but you keep referencing $800? The Stam website has it listed at $799 (~$800) for the stock price. Though the (first 100) preorder price I paid for the single unit I already previously reserved was $499 (~$500). So I would be looking at a total of $900 ($500 + ($800/2)) if I were to order a second ADG at 50% off so that I could have a pair.

I guess it would also be worth getting some official confirmation from Stam that the "delay" pricing of $790 for the new SA23A will not have an expiration date for us delayed customers and, if so, when will that expiration date be?

I got the mail with 50% deduction on the next purchase 2. Thinking about grab Stamcild 670. But would love to hear it first. If there some sample & video out there, I could not find anything?

It will be a while before the 670 comes out. Since the 50% discount is based on the stock price of $3000 anyway, I wouldn't say that there is a rush to get your order in. I'm planning on waiting until those things are out in the real world before I consider picking one up. I need to hear user reviews first, I think.

Well I still see a pre order discount for the first 100 $200 off list ? Pre-order and first 100 prices are still good, he just removed the special ‘delayed’ customer pricing mentioned earlier in the thread when the 50% off one item offer went out.

Yeah I think it's just a flat 50% off one item, end of story. Still a nice offer. I got multiple 50% offers for various delays too but I think we just get one voucher.
