Groovers indeed Darren!!! Very nice. Sweet solo too! And yeah, Blake is killing it there. Wish your solo was longer though...... heh heh Keep up the good work. I always love to hear your SB getting a workout!! thanks so much drbill - much appreciated! And lol.,, just what the world needs - longer sax solos 😂😂😂 It’s fun when I do get a chance to cut loose... unfortunately it can be a liability at radio. So all in moderation I guess. Especially for clients. Hey, but I get to cut loose on my albums so that makes up for it and that Silver Bullet... it’s a chameleon of sorts. Always good, and always mojo... but works great for cleaner mixes and vibier ones too. This one happened to be for a client that wanted crispy clean and clear. And the SB still delivered in spades! It lives on my Buss now. I really need a second one... and a third one... along with the RS124, and some other goodies.

Various duties, but always on the mix bus and always on the mastering chain. Thanks for the kind words and amazing work with the SB. Good times, eh?? <thumbsup>

Nice bass playing. Who did that? Was that a jazz bass? Cheers The Bass player is Mel Brown... one of the baddest Session players alive. He’s almost always on some variation of a Fender Jazz... I believe this was a Carvin (Keisel?) variety of the Jazz Bass

Hey remember at NAMM you told me to go ask Chandler for a discount on the REDD Mic? Well... In my naivety I asked them... they laughed pretty hard at that. No discount except for the time I save using it cuz it makes getting a good Sound much quicker, lol. But that’s saying a lot on Sax which normally is a bear to reign in.

Been close a few times but no cigar I love Chandler’s gear and their customer service is up there with the absolute best I’ve ever experienced. Adam and Wade rock. I have several more of their pieces on my shortlist. I’m Saving for a TG2 500 pair and down the road a Zener, Curvebender and the new TG Mic looks like it’s right down my alley. Time to earn more shekels!

Happen to use any other converters in there somewhere? hey Svart! I love your Converters man. Up there close to my Lynx Hilo! I wasn’t able to use them on this session. I’ve run out of digital connections on my Apollo rig. I use your converters for my laptop rig - used regularly on grand piano upstairs. And I used your DA for monitoring/mixing my most recent album SONIC BOOM. Great stuff Man. And absolutely the best sounding conversion available in that price range without competition in my opinion. Your box is on par with Converters that cost 3 to 4 times that much!

Yeah but you can’t get all that 124 tone in a single 500 slot😥

Amazing work Dr sax. Honored that Zulu is on a #1 record and always tickled at your application of it. On horns it rules and many other places.
This is what it's all about right? You can damn near shop for everything your studio needs on RGO and get a #1 record.
The song itself is badass. I really wasn't thinking about the gear after 2 seconds in. This joint is bumpin'and it definitely has that OG vibe to it. Stacy Adams with a glass of Crown Royal (as we say Roy-yal). Or as my uncle would say "This is cold."
Great work!
Thanks -L.
