I tried looking around at some big name band's websites, and few if any impressed me. I'm thinking they're not as important as they used to be, but of course, necessary. I just reworked my website, it still needs a tweak or two, but take a look: www.martinjohnbutler.comMy buddy Dusty Wright just finished his website update, it's pretty cool: dustywright.comMy wife's website is clean and informative, daileyreflexology.com/LoL at least here in Germany no one is interested in my website for the songs. 99% of the jobs are offline, knowing where music is in demand, staying in touch with gatekeepers.I will have a website relaunch next month anyway....who cares.

Most of the bands I solicit that don't outright turn me down ask two things: 1. What are your prices? 2. Do you have any material that sounds like what we want to sound like? It's a lot easier to give them a business card with a QR code they can scan to get to a website with all the information they want than to try to explain things and expect them to remember me or what I've said.

Sure it can make live easier.

I haven't read the whole thread here ... so not sure if anyone has raised this:
If you get your web page to be a collection of content from your social media ... then it will update itself as you publish. It also gives you a motive to post on twitter, YouTube, etc.
Static content like pricing, contact numbers etc don't need much updating.
With this approach, your website will always look fresh, so long as you keep a trickle of social media going.

The background image at the top of the page makes it difficult to read.

The background image at the top of the page makes it difficult to read. You looking on a phone? Doesn’t appear that way on a computer. Gonna figure out why.

Only thing I’m going to suggest is on the pages with Album covers as credits put the Artist name and title under each image so many use mobile these days, Also make sure you have permission to use those images as strong a critic as you are of royalty rates I would hate for somebody to be able to say you were using their copyrighted image without permission my friend.
