I honestly believe people do have a right to their opinion: just wish our Stam threads were, you know 20% about the gear: an rgo gearhead can dream: right ?!

I tracked bass on 2 songs a few nights ago. Used the 76ADGs in D mode,. Absolutely fantastic tone! The weight is beautiful. And just the right amount of compression to keep it tight in there with the kick

I am really liking the adg’s as well: d on electric guitar and di’d bass and A on Vox. I think Josh’s innovation of the 3 circuits in one box, pays real dividends in terms of the immediacy of trying and selecting your preferred tone: quickly so you stay in your creative groove.

My chief concern with Stam threads is they quickly become a platform for not discussion of the piece of gear but instead get taken over by differences of opinion about the company and its foibles. I would prefer we start another thread for that discussion and people can choose to read it or ignore it, and keep the gear threads about the gear. Given the nature of how the products are sold (hype thread->preorders), I don't think decoupling the discussion is realistic. You're just going to end up with complaints piling up in both the dedicated complaint thread and in the product thread. That the idea of having a separate complaint thread was suggested is a pretty bad indicator about the state of things, IMHO. I agree. When deliveries start getting delivered on time, that will solve itself. Right now, the issues are important to know.

Everyone is welcome to their opinion, but if a thread is about product X, what exactly is the point of seeing every friggin complaint ad nauseum someone has about the company? I hold the somewhat unpopular view here that threads should be about, what they are about: go figure. Well, this would be a very empty thread otherwise, right? I mean, except for the handful of people here who’ve just recently gotten their ADG’s.

Are we still in the 1st batch of adg's? When will the 2nd batch commence production and is there a difference in functionality? I remember stereo linking being mentioned as an added feature. Thanks, Mike

So I guess that means the ADGs are back in production again? I never quite understood why production seemed to pause.

Well we were told he was missing either parts or pcbs ? Hard to build missing either of those ?

Well we were told he was missing either parts or pcbs ? Hard to build missing either of those ? I remember seeing that too. What I meant was, how did a few of them still manage to get built and shipped out if parts/PCBs hadn't arrived yet? They either had the parts or they didn't.

If you go back in this thread, the PCBs were supposed to get there several weeks ago. Joshua was trying to ship me one last week but he said it failed QC and they needed to order more parts. Presumably they got those parts and started making them again.

As an aside, interesting fb pics of 3-4 key staff , deep into a variety of builds, eg,: 23a+, Fairchild, pultecs and comments about getting backlog cleared up, personally just hoping, they just keep moving forward getting the past sorted out and improving their new product launches.

Can't disagree, I think if they just told everyone, while they are accepting new orders they are first only getting rid of the backlog and then will build based on order date; few would complain ?

Josh,
I put a deposit down on a second ADG last week and I sent you an email asking about sending me an invoice when the pair of ADGs are ready. I haven't heard back from you or Camila yet, so I'm trying the tried and true method of following up with you on the forums.

That is exactly what we have been doing We have cleared over 70% of the waiting list in the last 6 months We still have about 1k units to go and we will be up to date We are hiring, working hard and things are gradually improving Josh

Great: you must be looking forward to having the backlog cleared up, then just focusing on current production!

One thing I've not had good luck wth is info from DHL. They'd told Stam that my ADG was going to be delivered today, but the whole time, tracking only said like "arrived at facility" in Chile or something like that. Then today I got a txt from DHL that they'd attempted delivery and couldn't deliver, which never actually happened. I called DHL customer service and they said, "No, no one has attempted delivery. It's not even in your town yet. It'll be another week."
Was all pumped up for some ADG'n. It was like that with the 1073MPA though. Tracking never had any info and then one day it just showed up, despite alerts I'd gotten to the contrary.
