yeah, something i've asked myself as well. did they have the finished working prototype last may when offering it first, or did the they need the time/delay to make it work/develope it? I'm pretty sure there is no prototype when offering for sale. Just nice computer generated faceplates. I think Josh has a “ proof of concept “ prototype when we see product announcements, but I don’t think he builds an “efficient assembly “ prototype and once they get the parts there is a huge lag of time where everybody goes so how do we build these in quantity.

Stan’s problem is simple he expands product line, adds staff, expands product line, adds staff.... There has never been a window where it’s been let’s catch up, build some units for the warehouse, catch up and make everybody happy. None of these threads are good for buisness, they scare to many potential customers away.

Shipments have began
A few guys on this thread will have their ADG's at their studio by next week
Always fun to read all these theories. One problem we don't have is money, one we do is time. We are learning, this will get faster

Hoping this thing blows doors off my Warm and KT 76's.

Mine has Cinemags and I swapped out the OG T4 for a faster 70s style T4 from Kenetek . . .

Some of you suggest that ( Stam ) should give 50% off there next purchase to the one who did wait a long time before they get there gear. I'm not a business genius, 50% off and a long waiting list isn't the best way to stay in business............... I wish him the best, sincerely.

Ah we are not suggesting anything, Stam offered this to people to offset the frustration of their waiting for current orders.
So, adg people have been waiting since last July: drag. Now , I ordered a top of the line 67 for % 50 off or a savings of $750 usd dollars. When I convert that to Canadian and the 50% reduction on taxes and duties: Josh just put a fair chunkochange back in my pocket: not a drag!!
So, of course, I ordered something else from Josh, with my found money and now have additional savings getting preorder prices on other gear.
Thx Josh: , ah, how is this bad for business ?

Thanks jcoutu1 and Ward, I appreciate the pics also Ward, thank you!
I was just wondering if anyone had compared the SA2A Cinemag to the Sowter Version after reading in a couple of places in older threads that Josh had apparently made a SA2A for Greg Wells (and maybe others) with both Sowter Input and Output transformers that Greg loved from his own posts on FB & GS, and I then read Josh saying in replies to those glowing comments the sonic difference was 95% in the Sowter input Transformer and 5% in the Sowter output. Josh also listed the parts to replace in that post reply if someone wanted to make that version of the SA2A at that time.
I also notice that while the transformers for the now discontinued SA2A on Stam's page still list Cinemags for both input/output, that the updated SA23 and SA23+ have a Sowter input transformer and a Cinemag Output transformer. Which is why I asked which transformers wondering if anyone has compared the Cinemag to the Sowter version of the SA2A.
Thanks!

I'm not super technical and have no idea why, but I've loved everything I've had with Sowter Transformers.

I thought about upgrading, but was really happy with what I had and didn't feel the need to upgrade it.

I’ve got an SA2A I picked up second hand with the Sowter input and Cinemag output transformers. I was considering doing the upgrade to the Sowter output transformer. I shot an email to Joshua asking if he thought it was worth it. He said it wasn’t. Which is probably why there isn’t a Sowter output option on the upcoming releases.

Thanks Indie, Do you think the Sowter input version of the SA2A has more mojo than the Cinemag input version ?
