I think that the 90s "reissue" was actually NOS parts they had in enough quantity to do a run. FWIW. I could be mistaken.

If the 47Fet reissue runs at about $3.5, are you sure this is @$10? Seems like it should be around $8. Hope the PS is "Exact" as it was the only thing Bock didn't like from the 90's reissue. Seems like Bock came out with his 67 & it'd be interesting to A/B. But this is phenomenal! Hopefully it's as real as the 47Fet is. I'm ready. But, of course, will try it out first.
JohnKenn, is this what you hinted at almost a year ago?

Shit. This will drive the price of the originals into the stratosphere.

I think it'll be $5,999, maybe $6.999.
The U47 FET was 4G's, so 6G's seems right.

Shit. This will drive the price of the originals into the stratosphere. Gosh I really hope so and not the other way around. I bought one a few months ago and it’s currently getting a clean bill of health from Klaus. I got a good deal but I’ll still have a bunch of money in it when all is said and done!

Started to think it wasn't going to happen.

Not sure how this will affect vintage prices...I could see it driving them up with people saying, "it just doesn't sound like a vintage one..." or if it sounds damn good it could stop the escalation.

What I really hope is they don't do an "AI" thing like the did with the 87. The "AI" is still a great sounding mic, but it is a bit brighter, and I prefer the original 87, which was perfectly balanced.

I think they'll get it right. If they are listening AT ALL to anybody, seems like they should know what we want.

Dear God. It's back.
Still can't afford one X-D!
I think it's great and I hope they just continue them.

This is all the info that I’ve confirmed. It will be right at $7000 At $7k it might make some clone manufacturers drop any plans of 67 clone, very hard to compete even at $4-5k if you can get a Real Neumann at $7k with a real 67 family Capsule and badge! I would ask is this a hint of K47 based u47 & m49 if the tubes were reasonable, but they are not !
