Anyone use it? Just downloaded it during a Black Friday sale. Really unique plug that really lets you shape the sound. It’s incredible on drums.

All of their plugs are just killer. Couple of threads on here about them.

There other comp - the name is escaping me right now - can really get big and dirty. Killer on drum bus.

Faraday is the peak limiter.
Here is the history of the Vulf compressor.

It does a great job of rolling off hi end while still sounding natural. Kind of like the way some of my hardware will. That lo fi control is gold.

Where’s the best deal on these this weekend? It seems they only sell through their website.

I think you only buy them through their site. Make a soundcloud clip and get another 50% off. Bangin deal.
I bought several. Vulf is pretty colored, but it does that "thing" great!

Only 64 bit i believe - i'll have to pass for the moment, certainly looked very interesting from the online demos.

All their plugs share a wonderful gui form following function ethic. They use metering only where it affects the sound. Vulf sounds as dirty as a fresh carrot looks after freshly pulled from the ground...and as tasty too!

Has anyone found a use for this in the real world as anything other than a nuke?

Not really... I love it for that, though. I use it for that thing it does so well.

No it’s not another LA-2A or 1176 emulation, might not be most versatile thing in the world....but you can actually dial in a lot of different sounds with it. Mix knob let’s you blend to taste. I dig it.

This thing is gold on drum bus. All the clown ahem clone hardware and decaffeinated emulations are jokey versus this. If only I had the diy Fostex color modules for max old school lofi slam and punch.
It killed Kush Silika (too hard clipped rotting hardware sounding) and Arousor (sounds s too much like a digital clipper) for warm drum bus nuking.

I agree totally. I ended up replacing it with Faraday Limiter. It sounded so cool yet just didn't cut in a dense mix with a ton of guitar and vocal overdubs where I mixed all the vocals like lofi backing choruses to really paint the back of the room verb with them. mono room track, multed into drums and guitar, drums have NOVA GE as an expander into Molot GE 100% sigma slow attack for rocket hits, and then Faraday limiter on the bus to really bring up the room and pump the hits up more.
