Behringer V-Verb Strymon pedals
All cheap but good, really good in the case of Strymon. I love that the Strymons can accept line level.

get a couple of H9 pedals from Eventide. they can run all of the algorithms from the Space/PitchFactor/TimeFactor/ModFactor pedals in a super compact package. Buy an H9 Max and then an H9 Harmonizer. link them in your eventide account, and you'll have a pair of H9 Max's. H9 Max's get all newly released algorithms free for life!

I have a couple of old Roland SDE-1000 delays - really basic DDLs, sound pretty good, have the functions you need, really cheap these days, usually $75-$100.
Lexi PCM-90.

Yes I saw your add thx. I am honestly just clearing away some debts over the next few weeks. My little paypal fiasco trying to buy the first symphony led to me making 3 different payment ,affecting my bank account and my credit card, while also ending up buying the second symphony and the electra so I just want to get all that behind me The thread is about researching options !

On a budget Lexicon LXP15, Reflex Alex TC M-one, D2 Yamaha SPX, REV series. 1500 delay Roland SDE, SRV Alesis Q2 holy smokes this box has some great sounding stuff bargain big time! This was Alesis trying to run with the big boys, just don't get any respect! Some of these can be noisy but you know these sounds you grew up on them.
PCM 70 great, finding a good onecan be tough Lexicon 300 love going through the presets seldom disiponts Eventide 3000 guitar and vocal sound of my youth TC M 4K, 5k so much fun Yamaha Pro R3 last great Yammy algorithm reverb box.
Or save all your penny's and just buy a Bricasti! Hard to make it suck!

Ditto on the PCM-42, I still miss it, and it's been decades. Chuck's H9 suggestion is a great one, that thing sounds like a megabuck digital reverb, maybe better. PCM 70 is also a great option. Many people swear by them for drums. I always liked that reverb.

@jeremy so you’d just set up s send/return to the deck ? I have a good 2 track deck in good working condish! Yup- just send to the machine, come off the machine back onto an aux track for a return.. If you send some of the return of the tape back into the tape machine (gingerly) it will create the feedback that you can play with to a desired effect.

Best KILLER value - Korg DRV3000 with the remote. Really great 80's style verb and minimal multi-FX. Stupidly cheap and under the radar.

I like the SRV-2000, MidiVerb II, and SPX-90 for $100 or less reverb/effects. Not really beautiful lush units but good for effects like wideners, choruses, and drum verbs (like reverse gate and non-linear stuff)

Some of the most fun I have had in audio is going through the user programs in used effects boxes. Also for just over the top almost guitar like EFX The TC Fireworx!

I tried the Behringer V-Verb but didn't like it. It sounded very "digital". I like anything PCM and use a handful of the TC M-One reverbs.
