Wow this is some pretty serious gear for a live rig. Not surprised by some of the pieces, just the quantity and depth of gear.

That’s actually not even half of it. Believe there are also 40 Heiders. jsteiger Its actually 40 VP28's. The rack with my stuff is for recording purposes only. I assume the rack above is for FOH. Either way, those guys are not messing around. Vance snapped this last weekend when they were at the Bridgestone here in Nashville. Not that I'm photogenic but likely the worst pic of me ever. LOL

The new record is great, there's a great article in recording magazine about the making of the record. FWIW... RS124 Compressor was used in the dual mic vocal chain. Vance had a Coles-> 1073 -> RS124 and a 47 -> 1073 ->Fairchild, both sans EQ or anything else into PT. Acoustic guitar was an RCA 77 and a Gefell 582, both going into UA 610s -> Fatso and into PT. Thought it was interesting how he had the AC guitar mic set, looking at the guitar left hand/right hand and equidistant to the vocal mics, a triangle setup. Anyway just really cool stuff.

LOL I love the LED lighting around the edges of that rack. I have thought about doing that very thing for my studio racks and nice to see it in use.
