I get a bunch of backline requests for the Supro Jupiter, Fender Super Reverb, Hot Rod Deville. There is a Super Jupiter locally for $900 I'm thinking of grabbing, and a 75 Super Reverb for the same price. I will obviously try both, just curious on any feedback from players here.

If I'm not mistaken the '75 Fender amps had the unpopular ultralinear transformers. |

Thanks I will skip the 75 SR. I had a feeling it's price revealed some sort of shortcoming. I found a 1964 Blackface pre CBS for a small fortune but it's all original and sounds ridiculous.

I got my 1964 blackface bandmaster (housed in a 64 SR cabinet with 4 alnico 10s) for $450 less than a decade ago. Also a beast! |

Wow that's a steal. They are $2,000-$2,400 today. I honestly like the slightly tighter sound of the more affordable silverface.
