Over the past six months, well some of it was stolen but:
Warbler MKID, tried it as a vocal mic gave it to someone happily using them on OH's. MOTU 1248, had quite a few issues with it and wanted a mixer. 2X Agiles, I still have them but they're on the dump pile. Fluid Audio FX8's, great as a stop gap and good monitors but I have something better. Neumann U87 AI X2, as it's only me recording me now I don't really need workhorse mic's any more (I still have one left anyway). Neumann U47 FET, same as above. WA-2A, didn't mind it.. Although it wasn't an LA2A.
What I'm looking to palm off as I'm converting an outhouse into a studio / guest house and need money:
Neumann M149 Neumann U67 (Valve) Neumann 127 Soundelux 195 Shure Sm57 X5 Shure Sm58 X3 Audix D5 X2 Equator D5's UA 6176 UA 610 API 527 X2 API 525 X2

I made a personal choice to not list stuff I'd like to get rid of, that seems like the classifieds.

I started on some decluttering and let go of some old 80's midi gear which had not been turned on for many, many years.
Emu SP12 turbo Akai and Ensoniq samplers various sound modules.
People seemed to be very interested and they sold for way more than i could believe.

Neumann M149 UA 610 API 525 X2 I understand that! Building a studio is expensive!!! Been there, done that. BTW, here in the states we refer to an "outhouse" as an outdoor toilet. How much you asking for the above?

Ha! I sold my SP12T to get an SP1200 years ago. Then, when I didn't use it (like you) I almost felt guilty selling it for $2000. Now...only 5 years later, I'm kicking myself. $4000-4,500 seems to be the going price. Unbelievable.

How much you asking for the above? I'll PM you but I'm actually not sure what I'm selling or keeping at this point, I've already had offers on the U67 and whilst it is one of my favourite mic's of all time for me they aren't worth what they're going for.. Which is good for me. I don't want to end up buying again, I've ordered in some CAPI stuff and I'll see if I can live with them as opposed to the API stuff (because I do love them)..

I’m terribly bored and I’m getting the siren call to just sell everything and start over. Well, as far as vocal chain goes. I know, I know. But it’s the thrill of the chase.

I really love the Upton on my vocals. Not so much on other's...But that's the nature of recording...Most likely, I will chicken out...but the plan was to sell it and buy the Chandler...also has the built in pre which is really great. Nothing is more frustrating than getting a project and the vocal sounds great and you ask them what they used...Oh, a Focusrite and an SE mic...
Sigh
One of the guys I've been recording lately has a lower country voice that doesn't really belt - think Keith Whitley...so he has all kind of tone and never challenges a capsule...He would honestly probably sound great on anything.

I was floored by a vocal the other day, so clear / articulate and beautiful sounding.. AT 2050 / Tascam UH-7000 and some IK plugs . P.S have you seen this vid? Yes I know there's more to it than what this video portray's like how does a mic take to EQ? Does it have your aptly named "zing"? Does compression bring out the worst in it? Does it crumble under a loud singer?.. Although it really shows what's important:

Sold a pair of FMR RNCs on ebay this week. Shipping them out tomorrow. They've been sitting here unused for years.

If you do decide to change, I would ask Shannon about building you something like the Korby convertible or a Modded Lawson, the versitlity my man the versitility!

There was a great swap meet in Nashville on Saturday, sold several things I didn't use need (JBL 4431A's, Ludwig Vistalite drum set, RE-150 Space Echo, odds and ends) and made some money, but also got a bunch of a Spectrasonic and Flickinger preamp cards, a Quad Eight inductor graphic EQ, two Melcor GME20 EQ's, a Level Loc, and a Peavey Valverb...so while I sold a lot of big stuff I left with a ton of projects

I haven't sold much of my personal gear in a while. I have a few things I am thinking about selling but nothing yet. If I do, it will probably be a few eq's as I am kind of full up on EQ right now. I am really wanting to trade some one a brand new ZOD ID DI for a SPL transient designer. I have always wanted to try out the hardware version but haven't wanted to actually buy it to try it. haha Johnkenn, never sell good mics! my 2 cents
