Says compatible with version 9.91 only. Is that the current version, or an older one?

I miss my Waves SSL bundle. Might grab. I dont miss it. They sell a single channel for 29,- but want for the whole bundle 225,- for WUPING. I get the logic .... greedy as hell. We talk a single Waves SSL bundle thats all I own Waves. They already got two rounds of 200 bucks from me. Fuck yourself Waves.

That's why I just bought the E-Channel license off of indiehouse .

The Waves Update Plan is our complete support plan for your Waves plugins: get plugin updates, VIP tech support, new plugins added to your bundle, and a voucher towards any Waves software.
You don't have to pay WUP to continue to use your plugins. Your plugins will always work. If you own say mercury or abbey road and want the new plugs that come out then you would pay WUP. SSL Bundle has no new plugins, no updates, and most won't need "VIP " tech support ( which In my experience is awesome when I did need it )

But I'm not complaining. I knew that going in. But it does mean a bunch of Waves stuff gets abandoned, which I wouldn't think is great for their brand. I feel like people see Waves as kind of the used-to-be leader or something. Very past tense. Maybe I'm wrong. Who knows. Plugins are fun and there are a million ways to skin the sonic cat.

Well rtas to aax changed 5 years ago... also why pay WUP when you can rebuy the plug for $29... safe to say vst and au aren't changing and haven't changed, so for those users no need to pay WUP. Also no updates so again no WUP. Even with A daw update/ upgrade your plugins work fine, unless it's a renaming of the plugin extension ( rtas (.dpm ) to aax32-aax64 ) which we stated.

Waves plugs are staples in my DAW. I'd pay ~100 bucks/yr to maintain what's essentially the Platinum bundle.
I'm down with these $29 sales. Got the Abbey Rd plates and SSL G channel and CLA Mixbus that way.
