Not certain where my thread went, move this if you watn Johnken.
I asked the guy about the condish of the TAC Scorpion, here is what he came back with:
"I had a very good tech who worked on the TAC and changes the leds to VU meters (less noise), bought a Amek psu (large console) for it and checked everything. It worked really nice before I put it in storage (temperature controled) for 2 years. I powered it up a few weeks ago and there is 1 channel on the masters that doesn't work. it is of course a small fix. otherwise than that, it is bone stock with missing 2 or 3 knobs."
He is willing to trade this for 1 of my Dizengoff D4s.
Thoughts ?

Oh yeah go for it. I've never met anyone who got a console and didnt love the flow for at least a few years. You might go back but you'll learn a ton and once yiu get past the learning curve you'll wonder why you hadn't done 8t sooner. Its expensiv, make no mistake. To fully hook up 16 channels to even just 6-8 pieces of gear and your ad da requires a ton of snakes. Ebay them. Get some used hosa and what not till you have it integrated into your set up. Have fun.
