I like the console_n, althought I tend to like the SSL thing better, not the plug-ins fault. the 15 min. I've spent with console_e I think I will be using this. It has some pretty unique features, light cpu and oh.. it sounds good. www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/bx_console_e.html

The features are impressive. The Tolerance Modeling Technology channel differences sound pretty sweet. I wonder if Billy Decker has tried this.

I remeber trying the N modell and went back to slates technolgy with a big smile. Well one is modeled off a clean neve VR ( BX ) and one is modeled off of a 1073 pulled from a console ... not apples to apples my friend ðŸ¤

Lately I use MH Channelstrip for drum processing. It just seems to work and pump up the punch. If I remember correctly I picked it up for $29 a while ago and never really used it. Billy Decker mentioned he uses it here (or the video this forum shared?) and since its been my drum channel processing followed by NLS Spike. Im interested in comparing my current 2 plugin drum combo to console_e. The 15 min. Ive spent with console_e I really liked what it brought, especially in the drum dept.

I've kind've settled in to Slate VCC Neve...but the NLS Neve sounds really good too. I need to figure out how to apply it on every channel where it will not just add the same module, but consecutively put the different models on. Doesn't NLS have tolerance modeling too?

Are all the consoles cheap on dsp, or is this one because SSL is just plain clean in the first place and there is a placebo effect happening?
