thanx scum, yup, the coolest drum track ever?? other things that i've found about that tracking session are
the mobile truck was the rolling stones helios rig the only 2 mics were beyer m160(i think) ribbons they used a Binson echorech bucket brigade magnetic delay and the ADR compex f760/helios 760 compressor for the pump
this is the best i can remember, if anyone has anymore info on that recording, i'd love to hear it
btw, the track was marginally slowed down

You can do some crazy thing to the tone of a track by slowing or speeding it up by even a few cents.

That's a mighty broad smile with a lot of chins, monkeyxx! LOL I totally get it, i'm just an absolutely huge fan of Zep/bonzo, it's amazing that he played like that at all, let alone when he was 19 years old. What a strange and unique gift to be able to create such a signature vibe like that, I've never heard anyone match that particular vibe, hearing someone else play drums on a zep tune is virtually always a let down...it's pretty amazing. this bootleg recording kills me, the intro bass drum thing is unreal, and it's sooooo driving! It shows what happens when talented people play music live together... a lot, the triplet ?? thing ?? they do in the middle of the solo goes beyond a pre planned "do this here" thing for sure... music starts around 1:20 minutes in
