heh. I love that it's Sweetwater doing the video and he's using some horrible little plosive ridden mic. Hey Mitch, the least you could do is run down to the store room and grab a foam pop filter to stick on that thing. Come on, man! If you knew how much paperwork he would have to do to grab that foam you would understand 😎

What FETdoes the warm audio mic employ? After looking at the warblers, the warm body looks better, but the logo reeks of ughhh! Im sure they could have found an upstart logo designer that would have fit their budget. Yeah but you will remember it!

Did anyone read the blurb about the capsules and working with a respected capsule maker out of Australia... Beesneez? Idk if the prices would be this affordable if it were beesneez capsules... oh yeah 3u Audio is in Australia so that's would be my guess on the capsule manufacturing considering the price of the 3U audio mics that KidVybes introduced to the world. Anyone out there have a 3u 87 type mic you can open to compare to the capsule in the warm site? Ok so I can no longer access the warm audio page regarding the capsule pic and info of the wa87. Someone had asked about the pic of it and when I went to to the link it keeps showing the already released product pages and my browser history send me to warm's home page instead of the capsule/ mic link now. Does this mean they took down the product page?

I have a Warbler MK1D. And whilst it did not sound exactly like my Vintage U87 it was in the same territory. It's a bit like my WA76 did not sound the same as my Rev F 1176 but it was in the same sound-scape.

I've not used a Urei Rev D but I've use a Urei Rev F a lot and the Mohog I had for a couple years was a Ref F circuit and those both sounded similar to one another and different from the WA76, so maybe it's a circuit difference. A guess of course.

I wonder if Neumann's lawyers are sharpening their pencils? I thought Neumann had some kind of patent protection on the U67/87 style headbasket and had successfully stopped other companies producing mics that looked too similar?

Ragan I see the differences between the warm and warbler circuit board and capsule, what else is different? Can you spill more stork beans?
the wa87 uses same components Fairchild fet, wima tantalum polystyrene caps. How much better is the warm capsule/ sound than the 3u? I'm really close to pulling on of the warm 87's whenever pre order go up.
Warm defintely changed their product page from the capsule pic and info to just mic pics and info about the mics component, not the capsule and capsule maker! If they are so proud of this capsule why did they take the page down and change it?
I thought having a big blurb about the capsule and capsule R&D was the right way to go to attract customers.

I saw the capsule yesterday too, it was just on the warm site under microphones ?
just speculating here but I have always found Bryce to be pretty straight up: perhaps the pic was pulled as there is something about it that is unlike the production run ?

I agree. Warm Audio is very upfront regarding their product's components and their origin/ source. I am not inferring anything negative and don't believe Warm is trying to hide anything On another note, im actually gassing for this mic as is and the RGOness in me is drooling thinking about installing a real Neumann k870 capsule in this mic

For the price of a k870 I want consistency!
