Politicians need to give back instead of always taking! Daddy needs a new RGO T-Shirt! Bitches! Ok, I'll behave.

Donated.
As a side note, is there any chance of the main RGO logo being shrunk down to a more reasonable size? Right now, it takes up a substantial amount of screen real-estate, so I personally ended up blocking the logo element with a browser plugin, so as to make my user experience a little bit better, but would prefer to avoid doing this sort of thing.

Thanks for the donation! But really? On the desktop it's taking up most of your real estate? What's your screen resolution? Here's how big it is on mine

I guess I'm just not understanding...can you not scroll down? If there are more people that want it reduced, I can do it...

I guess I'm just not understanding...can you not scroll down? If there are more people that want it reduced, I can do it... Yes, but that's just it...it necessitates frequent scrolling down, every time every page on the forum is visited, where it might not otherwise be necessary. Your example browser screenshot shows it consuming almost half the page. Now factor in headers, ads, and stickied posts, and users are in a position where they have to scroll down when visiting every subforum in order to see the first bit of fresh content. Maybe I'm the only one who sees this as an annoyance, and like I said, I've blocked it in my own browser as a workaround. Feel free to tell me where to shove my opinions

April 1st was two weeks ago! I find the logo here no more annoying than the logos on the 3 or 4 other sites I hang out on regularly. Here's a hint that might help you out - instead of skipping from forum to forum looking for new posts why don't you use "Recently Updated Threads" as your go-to page? That will give you all the new stuff, most recent at the top. JohnKenn, could you increase the size of the logo a bit? My old eyes are having trouble determining which site I'm on.....

Sure, I guess. It's still pretty large, and my solution is still the same Thanks for the effort though, hopefully it serves as a minor improvement for other users. Seriously? Ok. Be nice people.
I really don't want to make the logo any smaller. I do like the fact that people will know where they are when they come here. Branding and all. I've yet to turn any profit, but maybe one day it would be nice...

I'm sorry if you didn't find this helpful: That's the way I browse this place, and every other audio forum I'm on except Gearslutz, which is simply too large for it to work well. Did you even bother trying it?

Did you even bother trying it? Yes, I did bother trying it, because that's how I've always used the forum. You've suggested a solution that has absolutely nothing to do with the minor UX annoyance I brought up initially...the amount of screen real-estate consumed was the same no matter which entry-point the user chose, as it's displayed on every pageview (excluding mobile browsing). Nevermind the disrespectful comments that bookended your suggestion. Hopefully the mods see fit to clip this trainwreck off where it started.

Respectfully, I would argue that saying there's a "User Interface Issue" is a little dramatic. You're the only one that has ever mentioned this, most just scroll down. I've tried to meet you in the middle by reducing the size of the logo. You've mentioned that you have a solution for the issue - so I'm really not sure why we're even still discussing. I appreciate you being here, sorry that the logo is an issue for you.
