We just released an extensive feature demo. Please check it out when you all get a chance -terry they seem cool, and to have quite a vibe, what I didn't like about the vid is he was playing the guitar into the null of the SM7? i'd like to hear the immediacy of the guitar in contrast to the reverb to sense the depth, the source was just attached to the verb most of the time, maybe i need to watch again after work... The SM7 was only there to record the Voiceover. We used an SM57 into our 440 Mic pre for all of the guitar audio tracks in the video. -terry

Yea I want a pair of these. I really like my 440 pres for using guitar pedals for mixdown etc. The price is a little steep for my budget while I already have quite a few outboard reverbs, but I do love Meris. Thanks for the kind words forgotteng! -terry

Anyone using these? I think they would be fun to have.

Is this much different than the pedal version? (besides the obvious)

I am a giant fan of the Blade Runner Soundtrack. It’s literally one of my favorite albums. The effects you can pull off with this are so cool. I’m going to be heading into the 500 series soon. This may need to happen.

You can find the pedals used for a much more affordable price too. Reverb has a used one for $349.
I'd totally get the pedal over the 500, as the functionality is the exact same.
I almost pulled the trigger on one. I don't think my music often goes in the direction this box excels at. If I was doing sound design and movie soundtracks it'd be a no brainer.

Sidebar:
I tried to like the Strymon Big Sky as a studio reverb. It just didn't sound that great to me on drums or vox. Sold it back to my pedal obsessed pal.

I spoke with the Meris folks via email and they said the signal to noise ratio and headroom would be much better in the 500 series unit when used in a studio setup when compared to the pedal.
