Quick question--I know some of you are running later versions of Cubase than I on OSX....did they implement the new Mac "full screen" thing at all? If so--what version? I just loaded a tune on the little MacBook....and--man, that would be nice. I use that for everything--web, iTunes, Office--so I can multi swipe through open apps....but, Cubase 6 doesn't have it.
I know Steinberg's always been a little non standard about their windowing on both platforms....I was just wondering if they implemented it--I think the function showed up in OSX.7---you know where you get the little arrows in the upper right corner and you can have it go full screen? Logic9 has it (um obviously....being Apple's product).

So, does it contain the windows to that full screen instance? Like, you hit F3 and the mixer comes up over top of the main window? No reason to leave the single screen? If so....that might sell me an upgrade.

Anyone else? Do we remember when that full screen thing was implemented? It was part of OSX.7 on the OS side. logic9 at some update level had it in 10.7 being that it was Apple's software.
Side note: Apple has become a minefield for audio. I own at least one piece of software that doesn't work after 10.8 (two if you count Cubase 6, but since I'm considering upgrading that....)....and every USB audio interface I find seem to be EITHER compatible with 10.8 or lower....OR 10.9 or higher. i don't know what they're doing under the hood, because 10.6/7/8 are fully Intel and fully 64bit code....USB3....TB.....no idea what they're doing that is breaking all backward compatibility yet fundamentally offering nothing to the end user. That might be fodder for another thread, but this is what I thought was going to happen with "free this expected" OS upgrades....but, moving quicker than I thought it would.
