Cal is easy. Look to the west, snap your fingers, click your heels, jump up and down 3 times and your are done!! Just keeding. It is pretty easy though. Very much like any other FET comp kit. I need to type all of that stuff up and get it posted. I also need to start a build thread over at groupdiy. I may get the build thread up tonight if I have time. I need to sort some more FET's first. BTW, I was texting with chunger earlier and he is starting his photo doc build tonight! Woohoo! Thanks for all the support so far guys!! You are all awesome! I can't wait until you all start using these things. We are sorting/kitting another 50 now but prolly won't be done for a few days. The amount of orders I received since last night has been insane. I added 2503's and some other stuff I have been out of for a while so shit got real crazy. BTW, I sold out of 2622's this AM but expect another 300pc to come in around the end of this month. All because of RGO, of course!

Seriously, these are one of those pieces that will live up to the hype even though we've hyped the hell out of them

Looks like consensus is 1731's. Anyone running 2520's or IC combinations? Curious to find out what differences people are hearing?

I could hear the red dots being really cool on vocals. They def add more bottom end. In fact, I put a red dot in mine (I ordered a second btw) and I think I forgot to take it out! Thanks for reminding me. Maybe I'll leave it in.

I've got my 4 on the bench, but I had to leave for the weekend, will start Monday. How do you guys build them. One at a time or like an assembly line?

I built 4 Capi LC53A's at the same time, but there was already great documentation on the build, this i will do one at a time based on the chance i could make a mistake? then it won't be doubled. I still haven't started, i'm trying to get the binding glued to my guitar so it can dry while i start building this.

I will probably do them all at once. That is usually how I do them.

I like doing one at a time. For me, it's actually quite relaxing and gets my mind off of the day-to-day crap.

I have just added the calibration doc to the build/support thread over at groupdiy. I don't think anyone is that far along but I could be wrong?? groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=59050.0

I have to second tonycamphd 's comment about CAPI ' S packing job! My comp came today. Looked like some one used it as a wheel chock! Opened it up and everything was safe and secure. Thanks jsteiger!

WTF to the USPS. They usually do a pretty safe job. Much better package handling than UPS or FedEx, at least on my end. Anyhow, I love your avatar mulmany but maybe this build will inspire a new one?
