I love the Electra, but personally I'd want something with easier recall for 2buss. I've used UAD massive passive lately. But I'm most interested in the bettermakers and elysia for hardware. Not heard either though. How did the Electra compare with your Neotek Elite EQ? I'm thinking about a couple of Electras but are wondering if the Neotek is anywhere in the ballpark of the Electra.

I didn't have them at the same time, but if memory serves, I would put them in the same/similar ballpark. I'm really happy with the neotek EQs...but I do want to mod a few channels to halve the gain range. Since my last post in this thread, I built the Don Classics sontec clone for someone, and they much preferred it to their GML 8200....

I'll use some Wima metalised polypropylene caps, some styrene caps and maybe some different quad opamps at least in the high band. It's a pity the LME series of op amps is discontinued although I'm not sure whether their noise performance is degraded when used in a circuit designed for FET opamps like the TL074/84's.

Electra and be done with it. It has outshone many other buss EQ's here and is killer on individual tracks as well.

I like the idea of the stereo Pultec style piece that was mentioned earlier. Why not two Warm Audio EQP-1A's? Second hand it would probably cost $1200.
