Seems I'll get the ban hammer for breaking the forum rule doth not "coveteth" thou sta-level(th), that you'll never get cause Bentley sold it. Ahh, well I'll buy and sell a cheap clone of a Klark Teknik in your honour instead. "Throws coins instead of dollars at the counter"..
P.S why am I so broke? Avid customer..

Oh...I totally misread Bentley's post...thought he said he'd buy and send me a Sta-level. I'm all on that bus.

I can't cope with the -1c we're having! That -11c more worth of coping!! Stay warm - I recommend hot chocolate and a very large blanket! (oh no I've just set Chris up haven't I ) Tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM: -17f, -27c...and that's actual, not with the wind chill...and I'm in Illinois, not Canada.

Well to make a frigid life even more fun a dampener in the furnace that heats or building lobby gave up the ghost last night, pipes froze and flooded the lobby and shorted out the freight elevator and the security system. So to get in you call the guard who is sitting in the cold lobby to come let you in. Our apartment is nice and toasty but the hallway is 60 degrees. Flood mitigation guys haven’t figured out that the functioning elevators were soaked and smelling like they will be moldy, someone should have ripped up the carpet tiles right away.
Stay warm guys.

10" of snow Monday night through Wednesday afternoon. Another 16" in 24 hours, Thursday night through Friday night. Temps in the negative double digits, but a "balmy" +3 degrees FH with a -16 wind chill here right now. The snow is going nowhere. Internet down since Friday night, and we're being told no chance of restoration until Wednesday, 5:00 PM. Too much snow and too cold for the workers. My hotspot will soon run its course of data, and then slow to a crawl. Can't help you with the STA, but I could send a VComp. drumsound ...good to hear you didn't get this snow down there. Yeah, I think we got pretty lucky from what you're saying! Dear Bentley - this is John’s assistant. He’s dead. Please send Sta-level. Seriously though - sheesh I checked the BBC Weather for you and it's frikkin -12c oh my gosh! I can't cope with the -1c we're having! That -11c more worth of coping!! Stay warm - I recommend hot chocolate and a very large blanket! (oh no I've just set Chris up haven't I ) It's all about dressing in layers!!! (currently I have a t-shirt, a thermal henley, and a dual layered hoodie. There's a blanket big enough to fold over if I get chilly. At the studio today working on some things for M57 I left with those and a scarf, beanie, hood up, wool coat and leather insulated gloves. the studio furnace does a good job, and when I started playing the drums I actually removed the hoodie. I’m not driving because these people don’t know how to drive on ice and snow! No building board, but tried to convince the owner to stick the building manager at the security desk, to actually deal with angry residents and show “ yeah we are uncomfortable to.” Instead they will hide in a model apt.

Both are part of the reason we don’t move, new management sucks, but the location is great. In fact even in sub zero weather Friday I bundled up and walked 3 Blocks to Harry Epstein’s for zero square drive screwdriver.

From an IG account: "If you rarely drive on snow, just pretend you're taking your grandma to church. There's a platter of biscuits and two gallons of sweet tea in glass jars on the back seat. She's wearing a new dress and holding a crock pot full of gravy."

We got 5" here in southern Middle Tennessee. Wind chill was -6 here this morning. It's a sunny 14 degrees F. right now with a breeze and 6 wind chill factor. My driveway is 160 yards long and I'm not shoveling it. Someone will have to be dying for me to leave the house right now.

Isn't that borderline dangerous to go outside alone! What happens if you slipped and broke a leg or knocked yourself out or something like that - how long would a person last - I only weigh 11 stone - I'd last 5 minutes!!

I don’t make it… Nashville is being shaken by a gargantuan snow storm…up to 6 inches. If I don’t make it…in lieu of flowers, send Gibsons. We will rebuild Gibsons have been sent out. I don't know your address, so I just sent them to random addresses.

Don’t think of it as being cold and miserable, think of it as natures way of cooling Tuve and Class A gear🤪
