Sorry I made you grouchy lpedrum . Don't blame it on AS. It's all on me. LOL I thought it was interesting, and quite a departure from normal stuff....thought it might be fun. I'm sure Chris or Charlie will reveal in good time. I think I woke up grouchy today! But....you saying it's a departure from what AS usually does is interesting. And you know I love my Silver Bullet!

At least it's not UAD style. "Stay tuned for a revolution in engineering the likes of which the world has NEVER seen." [Drum roll please] UAD Guitar Tuner!!! (I kid, I kid. I love UA products!!! But the marketing hype...) When tease marketing veers into being manipulative I’m out. Especially the “I know something you don’t know but I can’t tell you!” vibe. Let me know when it’s out and available for purchase and I’ll give it a listen. I guess I’m being a bit grouchy but it seems like we’re seeing more and more of this type of marketing. I’m a drummer but would never dream of posting something along the likes of: “You’ll never believe who I’m playing with on Saturday night! I can’t tell you but it will be epic and a major game changer! Here’s an out of focus pic for a clue!” PS. Don’t take this post too seriously. I am not in complete disagreement but this kind of marketing is dirt cheap, ever seen the costs of having a good ad agency do anything? So it keeps costs down. It’s also a double edged sword, the internet has its own way of building expectations and you can release what you thought was the perfect product and probably is. However some 15 year old kids took your tease twisted it to what they think they want, the myth takes hold and what you released isn’t what they wanted and suddenly is a disappointment.

ScapeChild 670 for $2999. It would be funny if it was only 2 RU in height.

What the 2-1176 should’ve been?

I suggested to AS that they make a unit with 1 x LA3A and 1 x dbx 160VU because most home guys only need 1 and the 2U 1/2Rack form factor is the worst. Can't believe they squeezed it into a 1 RU box 😂
EDIT: ooh how about a BL-40?!? 🤔

I agree with Johnkenn - my first thought was it looks like the front of an old plexi Now you have my complete attention.

I'm feeling pretty clueless from the teaser - but knowing Audioscape - I expect it to sound good

Hahahahaha....we're SWORN to secrecy as we have a whole release roll-out planned for this, as is the case for all NEW PRODUCT releases, moving forward. I WILL SAY, ONE (or two?) people on page 1 guessed correctly! ;-) Surprised no one got it from all of drbill posts! Hahahaha - BTW, a HUGE thank you to drbill for his role in facilitating this........😎🙌👍 C'mon...y'all can do it! Admittedly - it is something DIFFERENT that takes a bit of oblique thinking ;-)

I’m becoming less and less of a fan of tease marketing. Still love AudioScape though and eagerly await the release of the reverb unit. We understand this and apologize to anyone that's annoyed by it - honestly; it's nothing but love on our end! To each their own! You're obviously still AWESOME 🙏😍!! THANK YOU for the kind words! We truly hope the analog reverb makes some big waves; there's NOTHING out there like it; and THAT is RAD! TO everyone else; we love you and you ROCK; we appreciate all of the SUPPORT and passion y'all have for what we're doing here in Florida... ;-)

If it’s a pedal that could be cool. My bassist buddy is sending back a newer hyped up digital pedal which is a supposed to be piles of fuzz and a 1176 compressor. He just can’t get the right tone, and it’s too much money for never feeling happy. So he’s back on the hunt. It took him months to decide on the last one.. which was expensive and ultimately not satisfying.

Is there going to be enough pre made products for this release? Or Can you take pre orders? Or will it be more of the same show up and see if you get in? Cheers

I notice other fuzz pedals on their insta.
Anyway - why do smaller companies seem to follow each other? Warm has a fuzz pedal - if AS comes with one will a Stam fuzz be around the corner? Not saying AS is doing this, but there for a while, Stam and Warm seemed to be producing the same things.

It’s like the movie buisness it’s not really follow the leader but usually everybody has the same bright idea at once, development times vary. Now let’s say your 3/4 of the way through the development and you find out there are 3 other fuzz pedals coming out do drop it with no return on your investment in development? The other thing that leads to this is everybody is listening to the same customers. So if the market wants a better cheaper fuzz it’s going to feel warm and fuzzy because 4 are going to hit. Lastly this doesn’t effect AS but once the OEM in China gets the build docs for Warms pedal they are going to offer a version to all their clients.

1178?? What else uses those knobs?
Nope, the 1178 doesn't use those knobs, but a LA-#A OR LA-4 DOES.

Not to take this the wrong way but I don't think its a "small company" thing. More that some seem to be working out of the same playbook... Neither good nor bad. Just is what it is.

I'm looking forward to this one. Will be interesting to hear the chatter when it's (they're) released....

This one happened via a MAJOR group effort - which includes MANY of people, of whom you are certainly one! TEAMWORK makes the DREAM WORK! 😍🙏👍 It would literally be IMPOSSIBLE to do what we do, at the level we're doing it, every week, all year long WITHOUT our amazing crew! Shawn; our operations manager, John; our shipping manager; our LARGE assembly crew whom are absolutely REMARKABLE people and of course, Chris & Nicole - that goes without saying! I'm absolutely ELATED to have been a part of AS fairly early on; when Chris was doing almost EVERYTHING himself! And even up until this current moment - Everyday is a journey with unexpected challenges and/or AMAZING opportunities and TONS of happy AS FAM! 🙏😍😎 CAN'T WAIT for the CHATTER! Should be interesting 😜🙌 LOVE!

On my personal IG I do post some things I love including vintage fuzz pedals among other vintage gear. Before I started AS in late 2015 I actually had a guitar pedal company from 2010-2015 called 'CBC Pedals'. We made a little noise but once AS got rolling I had to choose which company to roll with. The way I was building guitar pedals at that time was not sustainable(ear testing transistors for hours on end in each pedal) so I decided to focus all my energy on building Audioscape. Sorry for the brief History lesson but just wanted to provide a little context

Pretty soon we'll have a Cease and Desist order from the Assemblies of God. I kid, I kid!! Looking forward to Hallowe'en for the next big release, the Reverb, then Christmas should be Golden!! And what's next? Only the Chris knows for sure! <gasp>
