Campbell's voice sounds a lot like Petty in that clip. It's like he heard him so long he started to sound like him. Have you heard him talk lately? It's uncanny. Hmm... "uncanny" So NO relation to the Soup Family fortune either? Chris

How did Harmony ever become such a desirable brand? Growing up, everyone dreaded getting a Harmony 'passed down'. I lump Harmony in with stuff like Danelectro Teisco & Silvertone. Gear that's kinda funky and cool because it's not just another Fender. If your looking for something kinda lofi & different they can work. There are also some luthier & tech types out there now who can rebuild em better then new. Neck reset, fretwork... fit a new bridge that'll actually intonate... Bask in day nobody would've bothered doing that work on a beginners guitar. Today a beginners ride like a Squier strat can actually be a decent playable instrument... but it's also just another strat. Interesting perspective and good point.

You know my Petty impression is pretty good along with my Dylan and Tom Waits, now granted I have probably ( legally ) used as much narcotics as all the above, but the real secret if you want to skip the cigarettes is to be on a respirator for 8 months and have a trake for a year. Maybe COVID will give a us a new rockstar
