For those who are aware of the many Sontec Mastering EQ's that have been mothballed for years due to failed HS2000 series op-amps Joe Malone from JLM Audio has finally developed a Sontec worthy modern replacement that has had extensive testing to ensure it meets/exceeds the original spec without the reliability issues of the originals.

Im hoping the FEQ EQ which I'd assume is based on a Sontec that he makes get released soon too. Even better as a kit.

The 500 kit? no I haven't. i wanted his 2U stepped mastering version of it. He said he would consider doing that as a kit but never did. Was awesome looking though.
