The Ampeg stuff by IK Multimedia was mentoined to sound great in another therad. I gave it shot, but to find out how thier demo process works reminds me on the old process Waves had.
Ok I wasted two hours of liftime and got the Ampeg BA500 run a timed demo for 72 h. But it does sound wired a OK its running on a guitar cab. Why is this if I demo base Amps.
Ah I had to find out that I need to get a Demo for the CAB as well. So I did.
Now I want to try it with one of my older songs where base DI has ben cut too. Surprise a time OUT IK-Multimedia demo also gives me burst noise - every few seconds.
I want to hear if this thing works with my music and they do burst noise in it.
Sorry.... but the whole process made me not to want to buy anything by them.
EDIT: To be fair, the damn thing sounds great as long there is no burst noise.

Reminds me I got a free version of Cubase and something else recently, and the number of hoops to get it registered and installed was so great that I wrote customer service and had them de-authorize my account and serial # before I ever saw an end to the hoop jumping process.
