How does v672 sound like? Never heard it. I heard a sample of v376 online and I really like it. How do they compare? I am looking for SS modules only. I gota itch to grab a vintage unit. Anybody with any knowledge on these modules or have other recommendations.

676 is pretty good if you can find one. Gotta be careful as the gain is a switch that controls relays. Sometimes those relays can die or get dirty and you’ll loose a gain stop.
Other than that they are pretty rock solid. Transistors can go in them but they are easily sourced as long as you don’t get some Chinese bullshit.
I’ve got a rack of 6 of them and once I had them sorted I never had another problem.

Or in between transparent? Open? Smooth? etc etc? Is it worth paying more for v376
