On the mic end, we’ve made a custom connector using a combination of binder and custom parts. For the psu end, it will have a binder m25 connector. And yes, that will be included with every mic.

I heard the Blackbird vs. Heiserman files that Heiserman sent to Brad. Sounded awesome!! Thanks Bill! We'll be posting these clips for everyone to hear in the next week.... Looking forward to it.
Just putting it out there. I'd love to make a video featuring the microphone for my youtube channel if you are interested.

Holy crap - they actually put a real polar pattern switch on it instead Of the horrid cheap looking ones that are on every clone. That mic looks absolutely astounding...
Nice work folks at Heiserman!

Naturally curious here. So... How would you compare the "updated version" of the K47 tube Heiserman, to the one I tried at NAMM? Thanks, Chris

Thanks, Chris The production version is much more vibey than the NAMM mic. There part selection is totally different now, including a transformer change. Sonically I would say that the NAMM mic was much more modern and clinical comparatively. The H47Tube production version ticks all the boxes in what you want in a U47 mic. Also, they are completely hand made in America!

Does it do Fig 8? Cheers, Ross No. Cardioid/Omni just like a traditional U47. The figure 8 capable similar mic is actually different topology, with a rear diaphragm polarizing line. Think U48

I thought the H47 with the K47 capsule sounded identical to Frank. I can't wait to get mine. I have to say, that H47 FET mic blows me away too. I used a pair on piano on Kathleen Edwards new album and they were stunning.

Hey all, No we actually went with a different transformer option after trying a bunch. Still using the Ef800 tube.. We also took our time selecting caps and resistors.. All of that really made the difference. And no the 47 is just like the original Omni and Card. The 48 did fig8 and card

Although, two in blumlein......ugh, ugh, ugh.....GIMME 2!!!!! (Love 48's). That's what Capitol mostly has. I think they may have one 47, but a bunch of 48's.

This sounds fucking great! I prefer this to the Upton you had if I had to choose.... I feel at this point we are there as far as a 47 clone.
Gonna get one of these for sure!

Hmm... "Ticks all the boxes". If it also includes a Julie London (in her prime), we've finally reached Sonic Nirvana! Chris

I’m getting a new Upton too. YOLO No excuses now. The reissue U67, the H47 tube and the Upton 251, Sounds like the new triumverant of microphones. And they'll all be in my locker by the end of the year too.

Although the Soundelux U99 works better on me, vs 67 reissue. Not sure if it's as "all rounder" though. Chris

So - got to demo this beauty and it's freaking awesome. So awesome I convinced them to sell it to me (Forum owner privilege) This is the k47 and they have an M7 too. Matt sent files of the k47, M7 and a Blackbird U47 and I thought the M7 sounded the most like the real 47, but the k47 sounded better than both. The M7 seemed to be more frowny faced so to speak - so more vintage sounding...while the k47 seemed flatter and more modern. It's a beautiful mic - matte headbasket and I particularly think the Heiserman logo is cool. Anyway, apparently the pre-orders are coming in the next week or so with delivery August ish...The files I did were a little song I've been learning for the last 8 years (sorry, I know, I know...but it's the only song I can remember the lyrics to)...they're rushed, so please excuse out of tune and playing (ability)... You can hear in the one I EQ'd how easy it is to roll off any top you want. And I find this mic to take EQ really, really well. I think that's because of the quality of a capsule. It seems like some mics, you pull out some of the body at say 500Hz or something, and it reveals just how nasty the upper mids are. Not the case with this mic. For me - and this probably applies to a lot of us - I can't afford a mic locker...so I need 2-3 mics that I trust and can get the job done. And I think that's the sign of great gear - you put it up and it just works. I feel ultra confident this mic is just that. Like everything, I'll have a better feel for it after using it for a while - and in real world situations. Sometimes you just can't really judge things until you use them and really learn them. But - I've recorded myself and another guy and it has been great. And the price point is killer considering the sound and quality. There will be a lot of these sold. Preorder price will be $2750 Regular price - $3199 H47 RAW - drive.google.com/open?id=1bv_JNgpNZK4xLY0fL59l6CB4GbOafBjcH47-->V Comp - drive.google.com/open?id=1wMKRE5gOJHyW9tDt0cFEZJpMRGS2hzzHH47-->V Comp with -1-2 db at 10khz and 3.2 khz - drive.google.com/open?id=13ctF5-l5hZLo1J_nLh1Ftyhf-_UIbb4QH47 Acoustics - drive.google.com/file/d/1EzHqF2BG9L2XKZb2Qiadu8efMAVuWdNN/view?usp=drivesdki400.photobucket.com/albums/pp82/Johnkenn22/rsz_h47_zps8dye9dap.jpgDoes sound really nice. You could start there and do whatever you wanted with that vocal. Love it through the V Comp. Also really dig it on the guitars.
